Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)

Nutritional Therapists are regulated by the CNHC which is a national voluntary regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners, developed with support from government funding. The key function of the CNHC is to enhance public protection. Registered practitioners are able to use the CNHC quality mark which demonstrates to the public that the national standards for healthcare disciplines have been met. The CNHC also sets minimum standards for member Nutritional Therapists to continuously update and develop their professional skills through an ongoing process of continuing professional development.
